What’s New at Artillery® Tools

“Thanks for making such great tools! I bought a set in 2013 or 14 and have gotten a lot of use out of it since then, mostly taking up particleboard for wood floor installs. The new salvage blade is great. Keep up the good work!”

We wanted to share this fabulous story sent in by one of our customers which showcases our tools in action!

“Hello, my name is Jon Holland and I am the general manager of Showcase Cleaning & Restoration in Hanover, MA. We use your Artillery bars on a regular basis for disaster restoration services. I wanted to share a story with you of a situation that happened yesterday. Two of our technicians witnessed a serious car accident in which a vehicle was basically crushed by a large dump truck. Three passengers were trapped inside the vehicle including two small children. No one on the scene had the necessary tools to free the trapped passengers. Our technicians rushed to help, and using an Artillery bar that they had on their truck they were able to pry the crushed doors open and free the small children! The fire dept quickly arrived and then freed the driver. I just thought you’d like to hear about an example of what your products are capable of, outside of the norm for how they are typically used. The Artillery bars are a vital part of the daily services we provide, but we were very thankful to have them available yesterday to assist in literally a life or death situation. Thank you!”

I just made it back from the Crawford Contractor Connection Show in St. Louis, Missouri.  At the show we collected business cards for a drawing to win a 46″ Artillery Bar.  Congratulations to Megan Paul, from Royal Plus Disaster Kleenup!  Her card was drawn from the full bowl, Royal Plus will be one of the many new companies from this year’s Crawford Show that will find out how much Artillery Tools can help with their tear outs.

Our new Glued Down Flooring Set incorporates some of our newest pieces that have been made over the last few years. The new Scraping Fulcrum creates the 48″ Scraping Bar which will greatly increase the effectiveness when it come to tearing out glued down flooring materials. It also contains the Ultimate Flooring Bar which works extremely well on non glued materials.

Year-End Review
Artillery Tools has had a very busy year. We went into production of two new pieces this year. We made a Scraping Fulcrum and a Right Toe Kick. The new Scraping Fulcrum is a very important piece. It opens up the range of tool function by removing the prying motion. Now you can get lower to the ground and apply much more direct force when scraping glued down flooring, underlayment and tile. The new fulcrum will hold all the full length blades so you will have several options to find the best tool.

We did four tradeshows in the first half of the year and ended up doing five more in the second half. We did two new restoration franchise conventions, the Steamatic Convention on June 26 – 28, in Chicago, Illinois and the 1-800-BoardUp on September 22-23, in Nashville, Tennessee. We also did two shows for homeowners, the OMSI Mini Maker Fair on September 13-14, in Southeast Portland and the Fall Home & Garden Show on October 22-25 at the Portland Expo Center. We wrapped up the year with the JLC Live show for the Northwest contractors on December 4th -5th at the Oregon Convention Center.

We also totally redesigned our website into a much more interactive and informative platform. We have implemented an affiliate program to help get more people and customers talking about our tools.

It was also time to update our product catalog. We added all our new pieces and some of the new bars that can be made now. It truly sums up what we have accomplished over the last 11 years. We now have the ability to make over 120 different demolition tools. We can definitely help anyone looking for a better way to do demolition

Artillery Tools originally designed their Scraping Fulcrum to solve the problem that a Georgia Pacific Plywood Plant was having. They needed a better tool for scraping the glue off of the sides of their glue vats. Our Scraping Fulcrum removed the prying motion by eliminating the two point contact, which is what made our Standard Fulcrum such an effective prying tool. Now we had an effective scraping tool where the fulcrum does not hit anything, allowing the blade to do the scraping. Once I found out how well this new Scraping Fulcrum performed on glued  down flooring materials with some of my customers. I made a production run so all my customers would be able to use them.

Our next supplier provides business owners and homeowners with a versatile, adaptable demolition tool. A premium prybar system equipped with an arsenal of accessories is packed in a convenient carrying case that permits users to conveniently change its shape for multiple tasks. Could your pry bar do this? Read more…

Today we celebrated our 10th Anniversary! Thanks to all of our customers and supporters through the years!
